Branding for Chefs Joe Cicala and Angela Cicala’s glittering jewel of Italian fine dining in the historic, revived Divine Lorraine. Angela’s great Grandma, Clémentina, came to America from Sicily in 1912. The other side of the family hails from Abruzzo, where for centuries the Abruzzi have paid tribute to the serpent as a symbol of health and luck. We pay homage to the owners ancestors with the clementine and serpent throughout the brand. The graphics also take cues from the rustic-chic feel of interiors and Italian etched typography.
