ROLE
LEAD / SENIOR DESIGNER
Branding for a new luxury apartment building in Foggy Bottom, Washington D.C. Originally built in the early 1940's as an apartment building and since serving federal government employees. We transformed this historic gem back to its original intent inspired by the era it was built. When fashions featured curving forms, long horizontal lines and boldness through color, shape and texture.
My role was to lead the design and execution of the project, from logo design to brand book.
Designers sketch style illustrations pay homage to the namesake, Raymond Loewy, the father of streamline moderne.

The icon is drawn from the original tiling in the lobby of the building.
